Imo State Police Command Allegedly Shot Church Goer Dead, Tagged Him Member Of Deadly Squad Attacking Police.
A report from @StandardObservers on Monday June 7 2021 revealed that contrary to the report by the Nigerian Police Force Command in Imo state on recent incident of attack in the early hours of Sunday by a deadly squad of armed men who were said to be responsible for attacks on police stations and killing of security agents in Imo state, one of the corpses labeled as member of the squad masterminded by a leader known as Dragon was actually a man on his way to or from church.
Standard Observers reported attaching pictures of the said man with the caption ;
" Police kill church goer, parade him as UGM in Imo."
The police had earlier in a press statement on Sunday announced that the command was attacked by unknown gunmen adding that the attack was vehemently resisted by its men who engaged the gunmen in a fire exchange.
The statement which was signed by SP Bala Elkana, ANIPR, the police PRO on behalf the Imo state Commissioner of Police, revealed that the dragon mastermind of series of attacks on the police and their various stations was killed alongside 4 of his Generals.

However information as been passed by @StandardObservers reveals one of the men who was shot dead and labeled as a member of the killer squad was shot full dressed in church attire on his way to church and a picture of him lying dead in a gutter is currently gone viral.
