Kwara State Polytechnic has suspended First semester examinations due to violence erupting in Ilorin the state capital.
A statement made on Saturday by the Deputy registrar Ajibola Jimoh revealed that the decision was taken in response to the curfew which was declared by governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in an attempt to stop the activities of hoodlums who have taken to breaking into private and government buildings looting food items and other properties.

Jimoh emphasized that the notice on suspension of ongoing first semester examinations was to take place with immediate effect.
