FCT Police Command Appeals To Public As 6yrs Old Boy Gets Separated From Mother, Siblings After Coming To Abuja From Port Harcourt.
The FCT Police Command is appealing to members of the public for assistance to reunite a 6-year-old boy, Aliyu Suleiman, with his family.
According to the Command, the child was found wandering around the Kubwa area by a good Samaritan. He was brought to the Kubwa Area Command, Abuja, on 9th July, 2026, after efforts to locate his parents or relatives proved unsuccessful.
The boy speaks Hausa fluently and told police that he came to Abuja from Port Harcourt with his mother, Rashidat. He said he had gone out with his mother and three siblings Aisha, Umar, and Zaipa when he became separated from them.
Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, said the Command is calling on anyone with useful information that could help reunite Aliyu with his family to come forward.
Members of the public are urged to report to the nearest Police Station or call 08180382808. The PPRO can also be reached on 07038979348.
The Command thanked the good Samaritan who brought the child in and urged residents to remain vigilant and assist in reuniting families.
