BREAKING: DSS, Police Take Over Ilesa Palace As Rumour Of Demise Thickens

 

Heavy Presence Of Security Seen At The Palace of Owa Obokun Of Ijesaland Following Wide Spread Rumour Of Obokun's Demise. 

Reports reaching the desk of MEDIA ORCHID reveals that there is heavy security presence of security at the palace of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, over the rumored death of the monarch.

Aromolaran who is said to be 87-years-old has been on the throne for 42 years.

Information further revealed that Oba Aromolaran was admitted at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Osun State before his demise. 

Sources in the palace confirmed that the monarch passed away on Wednesday.

" We are crying and mourning presently, we are not picking calls from outsiders but I can't ignore your own call.

“They are moving personal belongings of the king out of the palace as I am speaking with you”, a source in the family revealed. 

Another security source said: “Operatives of Nigeria Police and Department of State Service(DSS) have taken over the palace as we have also shut the gates.”
