The PDP Presidential Campaign Organization via a press release issued by the Director Strategic Communications Otunba Dele Momodu, has distanced itself from the false claims that the visit of Former Vice-president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, in London was based on the organization's knowledge of an internal polling by the British government.

" We have seen reports of the meeting of the PDP Presidential candidate Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar with British authorities in London yesterday and wish to thank the Nigerian media for their kind coverage.

" However, we wish to correct the impression that the invitation was based on our knowledge of an internal polling by the British government.

" We are not aware of any such polling. It is a tradition for foreign governments to seek audience with leading candidates in a forthcoming election and this is not an exception," he added.
