PDP National Secretary Anyanwu Pays Courtesy Visit To Dr. Fabian Ihekweme.
- Thousands Set The Join PDP At Grand Reception Of PDP’s National Secretary.
The National Secretary Of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alongside party stakeholders from Imo state Yesterday Friday February 11 2022, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Fabian Ihekweme.
Dr. Ihekweme renowned for being vicious with the pen in addressing political matters arising in Imo state, although had been part of the Hope Uzodinma 3R administration in its early days, was widely rumored to have been bold in registering great displeasure with the Uzodinma led administration which necessitated his alleged move to rejoin the PDP.
According to information reaching the news desk of MEDIAORCHID, Senator Anyanwu in declaring purpose or visit, took Dr. Ihekweme down history lane. He lamented over the present situation of things in the country stressing on economic hardship and insecurity and beckoned on Ihekweme to join well meaning Nigerians and support the PDP and its new leadership in the task to 'Rescue Nigeria'.
Ihekweme in responding, congratulated Anyanwu on his emergence as National Secretary of the PDP and also thanked him for his thoughtfulness.
In his illustration while speaking, he said ;
" A person who embarks on a journey, with a destination in mind, should have no business remaining in a vehicle that has broken down with no sign of getting fixed.
" Getting to his or her destination remains key hence the need to alight and proceed to seek a better means of arriving at the proposed destination. "
He further added that he would be making an important announcement soon.

The PDP in Imo state had earlier announced it would be giving a grand reception to its illustrious son, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, the National Secretary of the party this month, MEDIAORCHID recalls.
The event which is scheduled to take place on the 23rd of February, at the Kanu Nwankwo stadium in Owerri the Imo State capital would see the defection of thousands of persons from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
