PDP National Secretary Anyanwu, Holds Critical Meeting With Okigwe Stakeholders.
Senator Samuel Anyanwu the National Secretary Of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday December 27 2021 paid a visit to Barr. Charles Ezekwem, former Imo PDP Chairman in his country home in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State.
MEDIAORCHID recalls that Ezekwem had alongside other aggrieved members left the party after what appeared to be an endless circle of conflict which was strongly rumored to have been caused by complains about undermining his authority and total disregard for his office by some members of the party in Imo state.
Anyanwu in his address, thanked Ezekwem for the warm reception given to him and his team. Speaking further he lamented over the present state of Nigeria especially economic hardship, alarming surge in crime rate and insecurity bedeviling the country and beckoned also beckoned on Ezekwem to return and join hands together with other PDP members and help ensure that the mission to rescue Nigeria succeeds.
" Join the mission to rescue Nigeria. PDP loves you, because you truly suffered for PDP, I therefore plead with you in the presence of your kinsmen that you come back home and join us.
" I know who you are and I know how strong you are politically. You were accompanied by a very vibrant team and it will be unwise not to acknowledge your strength and their presence,"he added.
Songs of reconciliation, forgiveness, love and oneness were raised and chanted.
Barr Charles Ezekwem in his response to the request of the Anyanwu thanked the PDP National scribe for reaching out and requested to consult with other key persons in Okigwe, he further promised to make his decision known to Sen. Anyanwu in a few days.
