FFK Receive Backlash After Sharing Photos Of Visit To Pantami's House, To Eat Dinner.
Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has shared pictures of a visit to the residence of Ali Isa Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Daily Trust has reported.
Fani-Kayode shared the pictures on social media amid the backlash that his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) has caused.
President Muhammadu Buhari hosted the ex-minister at Aso Rock when he was formally received into the ruling party.
Many had criticized Fani-Kayode over the move as he was one of the fiercest critic of Buhari and the APC.
Back in April when Pantami was under fire over some comments he made in the past, Fani-Kayode had labelled him a terrorist and asked Buhari to fire him.
“He (Pantami) is a religious bigot, an ethnic supremacist, an unrepentant jihadist, a lover of bloodshed, carnage and terror and a psychopathic and clearly insane individual.”
“Pantami is not fit to be a minister of the Federal Republic, but he is also not fit to walk our streets freely,” he had said at the time.
But last night, Fani-Kayode said he and Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara spent hours at Pantami’s residence discussing the “way forward”.
Below are Fani-Kayode’s recent tweets.
“It was an honor and privilege for my friend and brother Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state and I to have been invited to dinner at the beautiful home of my friend and brother Professor Isa Pantami, the Hon. Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, last night.
“We were there until the early hours of the morning, we had a wonderful time and we discussed crucial national and international issues and the way forward. Thanks for having us my brother.
“Together we shall continue to build bridges of peace, unity, love and understanding in our country, fight the war against terror and restore the glory and greatness of Nigeria. Great things lie ahead!”
