The president General of Ike Ngor-okpala, Dr. Anselem Okere in a congratulatory message to professor B.G Nworgu on behalf of members of the Association said,
" We the members of IKE NGOR-OKPALA heartily Congratulate our illustrious son, an internationally acclaimed scholar and technocrat, Professor B.G Nworgu, on his well deserved appointment as the Honorable Commissioner for Science and Technology by His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, (Onwa Onyoko) the executive governor of Imo state.
" Knowing your antecedents in the field of science and technology, education, distance and e-learning as well as a famous researcher, your appointment could be described as "Putting a round Peg in a round hole".
" It is our belief and hope therefore, that you will live up to the expectations of the governor and Imo people, leaving a lasting legacy as you had done in previous endeavors.
Expressing gratitude to the governor of Imo state, he said,
" We also express out profound appreciation to the 3R Governor, Sen Hope Uzodinma for finding you worthy of the appointment and pray that God will continue to give him the strength, wisdom and courage to pilot the affairs of the state."
