43-Yrs-Old Snr Officer Maj Datong Abducted By Bandits In NDA, Reported Dead.
According to reports by PM News and Vanguard, Maj Datong who was kidnapped early hours of Tuesday by armed bandits at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on Kaduna has been found dead.
MediaOrchid recalls that news on the invasion and attack of the NDA in kaduna broke out causing fresh panic among Nigerians.
It will also be recalled that the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka where 39 students were abducted by bandits in March this year is situated opposite the NDA. An incident which led to the bandits demanding the sum of N500m as ransom for the release of the students.

Two officers Lt. Cmdr Wulah and Flt. Lt. Okoronkwo were shot at while Maj Datong was declared missing.
According to information given by sources, the bandits appeared dressed in military camouflage. They beat the guards to pulp and headed went down to the officers quarters of the institution.
Maj Christopher Datong's lifeless body is reported to have been found on Tuesday evening.
He was born on January 4 1978 and hailed from Pankshin in Plateau state.
