Governor Okezie Ikpeazu Sacks 2 Of His Aides.
The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has sacked two of his Aides, namely ; the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency, manager for Ikwuano Local Government Agency, Mr Jerry Awa; and Uzoma Asiegbu, the Deputy General Manager, Abia State Public Utilities Management Agency.
The reason for their Sack was not mentioned in the statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Chris Ezem.
Ikpeazu also instructed the General Manager of ASEPA, Mr Eze Okwulehie, to immediately take charge of the Ikwuano area, “to ensure immediate evacuation of refuse within the area, as well as engage street sweepers to clear grasses and dispose of dirt along Aba Road through the Ceramics area to Old Umuahia.”
A source however revealed that the aides were sacked as a result of non-performance.
