.... Graduates Hail Senator Anyanwu's Significant Role In Women, Youth Empowerment.
The Women Leadership Institute (WLI) on Tuesday June 1 2021 Commenced Capacity Building Training for young women in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja with Senator Samuel Anyanwu sponsoring 20 young women for an advanced Entrepreneurship Leadership Master Class aimed at improving knowledge and skills of participants and scaling up business and business ideas.
The Master Class which lasted 3 days opened with an introductory session and opening remarks by the founder of the Women Leadership Institute Amb. Dr. Kema Chikwe.

Dr. Kema Chikwe while addressing the participants said,
" We have to inform you that the idea of the training in entrepreneurship is also for you to join the business sector of Nigeria.
" You should be able to join exporters. You can start small but as you are trained and as you get experiences and as you network, you will be able to become an exporter eventually, that is very important to us.
" At WLI after each master class, you move higher and when you move higher, you mainstream yourself into Leadership positions.
" I want to thank all of you, I want to thank your sponsors, mainly Senator Sam Daddy Anyanwu, and I hope that everyone who has been sponsored will be appreciative of the sacrifices that your principals have made to get you into this master class."
Day 2:
Dr. Kema Chikwe also thanked Prof Akutson for his unwavering support, dedication to success of Nigerian Women and for partnering with WLI despite his busy schedule and high profile position as a Vice Chancellor.

The intense training featured Facilitators like Mrs Somachi Kachikwu, Professor Seth Akutson the current vice Chancellor of the Greenfield University in Kaduna State, Ms. Wura Tunde - Anjous , and Ms. Weyunmi Eribo.
Wura Tunde-Anjous, Communications and Knowledge management adviser at ITAD UK, Social marketing and Communications Specialist with over 8yrs experience in International development, advertising, media relations, brand management.
Trained Geologist, & Certified Health safety and Environment Professional.
Different topics under Leadership, Entrepreneurship Courses, Practical and Interactive sessions, were covered during the training.
Day 3:
The founder in her closing remarks on day 3 and round up of the training said,
" The WLI desires to train a large number of women to acquire the skills as they get emersed in the society.
" The Entrepreneurship master classes are both intellectual and practical. We are hoping to partner with agencies that will. Promote your business and give you wider vision, connection and networking framework to grow your businesses.
" If we are able to produce a critical mass of women who become exporters earning $10 a month from exporting their products, it will indeed be a major breakthrough in our national economy.
" I know it's not easy leaving other activities and dedicating time to be present in classes for these three days. Please feel free to reach out to us. The WLI is also a resource Centre and a mentor to you all. Same goes for all our resource persons.
" The WLI has master classes in other aspects of development such as ; I.T, Agriculture and many other aspects of development.
Thanking Sponsors, Facilitators, and participants she said,

She also thanked the WLI team for professionalism in the course of the training an further urged all graduates to become more productive.
" As you receive your certificates this afternoon, I do hope that you understand that it means that you should be productive and become leaders in your different enterprise," Dr. Kema Chikwe added.
Amb. Dr. Kema Chikwe is a former Nigerian Federal Minister of Aviation, Former National Woman Leader of the Nigerian political party PDP and Founder of the Women Leadership Institute (WLI).
