Chief Of Staff, SSG, Commissioners, Special Advisers Relieved Of Duties As Okowa Dissolves Cabinet.
The Governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa on Tuesday May 19 dissolved the State Executive Council.
The immediate past Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu while addressing the press said the decision was taken following the resolve at a meeting which was held at the government house in Asaba the state capital to restructure the government and to ensure better delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of Delta State.
Speaking further, Aniagwu said one Mr Benard Onomovo was sacked following allegations on his involvement in illegal inclusion of into the payroll of Delta state government.
Aniagwu who was in the company of Olisa Ifeajika the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor revealed that prior to the dissolution of the council, the Governor thanked all who had served in his cabinet in for 6years and advised that all government property in the possession of all who held offices must be handed over to the most senior official in their offices.
