IGP Alerts Over Plot To Attack Major Cities By Boko Haram Terrorists.

..... Exposes Names Of Terrorists, Orders Review Of Security Architecture.

The Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba following an intelligence report at his disposal has revealed plans by Boko Haram Terrorists To attack major cities in the country, particularly Jos, in Plateau state and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

The IG in the signal sent on Wednesday May 19 2021 to the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command Headquarters and signed by Ag.CP Idowu Owohunwa, the Principal Staff Officer to the IG of Police read,

" The proposed attacks would be coordinated by the duo Muhammad Sani a Boko Haram commander, domiciled in Sambisa Forest and his Deputy Suleiman (fnu) hibernating around Lawan Musa Zango Gashua, Yobe state.

" In light of the above, it is the directive of the Inspector-General of Police that you review your security architecture across all critical Government infrastructures and police facilitates in your jurisdiction with a view to checking the dastardly plans of this marauding terrorists.
