Unknown Gunmen Invade University In Kasarami, Chikun LGA, Abduct Students.
Reports reaching the news desk of MediaOrchid reveals gunmen on Tuesday night attacked and invaded a private university in Kaduna state.
The attack had been described as the first major attack since the deployment of 300 female Soldiers.
According to eye witness reports, the gunmen attacked the university on Tuesday night and shot sporadically then whisked students away.
The university though with small population of of about 40 students is reported not to have adequate security making it easy for the attackers to carry out the heinous activity without any attempt to repel them.
Green Field University, which is located at KM 34, Kasarmi Village, Abuja - Kaduna - Zaria Express Way, is a private university established in Kaduna state about 3 years ago.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna state, Samuel Aruwan, has confirmed the incident.
The total number of students abducted is yet to be ascertained.
