Police Invites Hotel Owner In Ogun Over Cameras Hidden In Rooms

Hotel Owner In Ogun, Invited For Interrogation Over Hidden Cameras Discovered In Rooms.

MediaOrchid reports that the police command in Ogun state has revealed that investigation has started over allegations of Pavilion Hotel Invading the privacy of its guests by planting hidden cameras in rooms.


The Public Relations Officer (PRO) Abimbola Oyeyemi speaking said, 


" The owner of the hotel stays in Lagos and the divisional police officer in Odogbolu has invited him. 


" We are expecting him to come and state his reasons for doing so. "


The hotel which is located at Ayepe, Odogbolu area of Ogun State trended on various social media platforms following the emergence of a video of people believed to be guests discovering hidden cameras that were installed in the rooms in the hotel provoking reactions from Nigerians who called on the governor and the Police to swiftly commence investigation. 


The guests lamenting during the shocking discovery in a video said,

" This is the room in the hotel we are sleeping in Ayepe ; we just found out that there is a camera installed in every room. These are the four we removed from other rooms, this is the fifth room and we just found out that there is a camera inside."


" The cameras have recorded my brother's and mother's nakedness. "

" Imagine, you are infringing on people's privacy, seeing people's nakedness, " he added.
