#COVID19 : CJN Tanko Tests Positive For Coronavirus



The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed  has tested positive for COVID-19.


 

Tanko was represented by Bode Rhodes-Vivour, a supreme court justice, after he missed the swearing-in ceremony of 72 senior advocates of Nigeria (SAN) on Monday.



73,374 cases have been confirmed in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). 


According to a report by TheCable, the CJN is currently out of the country for medical treatment owing to the fact that he is ill.


Ibrahim Saulawa, justice of the supreme, confirmed on Tuesday,  that the CJN tested positive for the virus and that he is currently in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, receiving treatment.
