BREAKING : "We Were Invited By Lagos Govt To Intervene In #EndSARS Crisis" - Army

 

The Nigerian Army has revealed that the Lagos State government invited it to intervene during the #EndSARS Protest at Lekki Toll gate.

A News agency TheCable reported the statement made by the Nigerian Army. 

The army has been under fire from Nigerians over the involvement it's soldiers who were seen in a video opening fire at unarmed citizens that were protesting.

Citing a statement by the military on monday which read ;

“However, the decision to call in the military was taken by the Lagos State Government (LASG) after a 24- hour curfew was imposed. "
