Gunmen Attack And Kill PDP Legislator Agagowei In Bayelsa

The councilor representing Ward 6 in Sagbama area council of Bayelsa state, Hon. Karma Agagowei has been attacked and killed by gunmen.


Sources revealed that gunmen attacked Agagowei and one other on their way back from ward congress of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)  which was took place on Saturday 29th August 2020. The other person managed to escape with deep machete cuts all over his body.

Although Agagowei was rushed to the hospital first Gloryland Inri Medical Centre along DSP expressway and the Federal Medical Centre, both in Yenogoa, he was not attended to and thereafter gave up the ghost.

Both hospitals were said to have demanded for a Police report which was not obtainable at the time due to the nature of emergency.
