Group Hails Makinde, Olujimi, Charges Secondus On Need For Fairness And Neutrality

The foremost group within the Ekiti State PDP, Ekiti PDP Young Leaders Forum has commended the leadership style of the Oyo state Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his exemplary leadership and unprecedented efforts to unite PDP leaders in the South West geopolitical zone of the country.

This was made available today in a press release co-signed by the coordinator of Ekiti PDP Young Leaders Forum, Wole Adedara (Ekiti South), the secretary ,Prince Sunday Adelusi (Ekiti North) and the Public Relation Officer.,Gani Salau (Ekiti Central) and made available to media in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital.

The group, YLF praised the National Chairman of the PDP, prince Uche Secondus for his vision and steadfastness in ensuring cohesion within the ranks and file of the party and at the same time, charged him to be neutral by providing a level playing level ground to all the interest parties within the party.

The group commended the National Working Committee of the party on their relentless efforts in forestalling peace and tranquility in Ekiti state chapter of the party, particularly, on the postponement of the Local government and State congresses which the group believed the apex body has done in the interest of the party to create rooms for dialogue and respect for the rule of law as a measure to finding lasting solution to the PDP crisis in the state.

The group however berated the undemocratic action of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Ayo Fayose which they believe is capable of causing disaffection and division within the party. They further advised the former Governor to as a matter of urgency call to order his aides whose utrances are becoming untamed and uncivilised.

However, The Young Leaders Forum commended senator Biodun Olujimi for her doggedness and resilience in line with modern and global democratic norms and  ethos.
