The Executive Governor of Taraba State Dairus Ishaku has dismissed his Chief Press Secretary Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa for delaying Commencement of daughter's wedding Fatiha.
Mijinyawa was dismissed on Saturday, after he was alleged to have failed to observe protocol during the wedding of his daughter which took place in Jalingo.
Sources revealed that Gov. Ishaku was angered after he received reports about the Chief Press Secretary delaying the programme for about 30 minutes and thereafter dismissed him stressing on failure to observe protocol.
Mijinyawa was accused of failing to allow for the commencement of the wedding Fatiha of his daughter not minding the arrival of the other dignitaries, clerics and the Deputy Governor who was to represent the Governor at the wedding program.
He was said to have delayed commencement of the programme by 30 minutes because he was waiting for the arrival of the Minister of Power Alhaji Saleh Mamman who arrived the venue late.
