Court of Appeal sitting in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja has invalidated a ruling which earlier affirmed de-registration of 74 political parties by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The higher Court in declaring that the deregistration was unlawful, upheld the fact that INEC failed to follow due process and has therefore ordered that all 74 parties earlier de registered be reenlisted.
