Chief Ifeanyi Okonkwo a former Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) gives his support on Mamman Daura's Stand on Presidency.
Mamman Daura who is related to President Muhammadu Buhari had opined in his recent interview with BBC Hausa that Nigerians from any zone so long as they meet the requirements can succeed Buhari.
Nigerians responded with a backlash as many were of the opinion that Northern Nigeria has had more than a fair share of it's turn therefore Nigerians from other regions should be allowed to produce the next president.
Chief Okonkwo the Executive Director of MoversNigeria popularly known as Onwa Nnobi in an interview with a news agency on Saturday the 1st of August revealed that he is aligned with Daura's position.
He said,
"I support Daura but I will add what he has failed to add which is ; we must also remove the quota system so that only 'Federal Character' will be left.
Finally, Restructuring must take place in Nigeria. There must be a balance in the number of states for the North and South."
