Sack Of Service Chiefs : Know Your Boundaries, President Buhari Fires Back At Senate.

President Buhari has responded to the resolution adopted by the senate asking for the resignation of the Tri-service Chiefs.

The Senate had earlier on Tuesday adopted a resolution calling on the tri-service Chiefs to resign or be sacked owing to the incessant security challenges in the country.

However, the special adviser on Media and publicity to president Muhammadu Buhari Mr. Femi Adesina has responded via his Twitter handle asking the Nigerian Senate to restrict itself to it's Job noting that what the senate called for is the president's duty and not that of the Senate.

"The Presidency notes the resolution, and reiterates that appointment or sack of Service Chiefs is a Presidential prerogative, and President Muhammadu Buhari, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will do what is in the best interest of the country at all times."
