Panic As Two Planes Collide In Lagos Airport


Passengers were thrown into panic when two planes, an Airbus A330-243 belonging to Middle East and Africa Airlines registering OD-MEA and a Boeing 777 Airplane registering TC-LJC belonging to the Turkish Airlines, on Wednesday 29th July 2020, collided at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos State.

According to reports reaching Media Orchid news desk, sources revealed that passengers had to disembark from the MEA Airbus after the MEA airbus rammed into  the Turkish Cargo Flight  which was parked thereby causing a part of the empennage, the tail assembly of the aircraft to come off.


Sources at the scene further revealed that both airlines were alleged to have been carrying out commercial operations for a minimum of three days in every week, while camouflaging with act of  "Evacuation".
