COVID-19 : FCT Extends Operational Market Days From Three To Seven Days

The Federal Capital Territory has extended it's market operational days from three to seven days a week.

In a virtual meeting which was chaired by the Honorable Minister of the FCT Mallam Muhammed Musa Bello held on Wednesday 29th July 2020 with the FCT Covid-19 Response team, Snr members of the Administration and members of the Coalition of FCT Chairmen and Secretaries led by Raphael Okorie.

The meeting was held in response to the pleas by the Coalition for an extension of market days.

As part of the resolution reached at the meeting people living in the FCT intending to use the open their shops or go into the market are to wear face protection such as face masks, and shields and must practice all other steps in the guidelines given by the the National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
