PDP National Woman Leader Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe Eulogizes Late Salome Abuh On 3rd Year Remembrance.

.....Calls For Immortalization Of Salome Abuh And Aid For The Family.

The National Woman Leader Of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Prof. Stella-Effah Attoe On third-year remembrance of Late Hon. Mrs. Salome Acheju Abuh, the erstwhile woman leader of Kogi state who was burnt alive in her country home Ochadamu area of Kogi state during the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Prof. Effah-Attoe describing late Mrs. Abuh said she was, a Leader, Amazon and Democratic Martyr,

" It is with melancholy, mix feelings and hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel that Nigerians remember late Hon. Salome Acheju Abuh.

" It is heart-aching to ruminate over the burning alive or setting ablaze of a woman of dexterity, gallantry and patriotism who in the midst of political violence, intolerance, injustice, banditry and thuggery courageously fought to uphold free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.

" This dogged fight for a just course saw to the winning of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State-Nigeria in the November, 2019 Gubernatorial Election by the Peoples Democratic Party.

Speaking further she said, the killing of Late Mrs. Salome Abuh by people and their sponsors who till date freely move about has brought nothing but a devastating embarrassment and National disrepute to our dear country Nigeria. This dastardly act subjects our Democracy and country to ridicule.

" What a shame that a Democrat, a mother, a female crusader for credible election, a grassroot mobiliser, a breadwinner was burnt alive for defending democracy in her country.

The pains of your murder are fresh with us.

" They stare at us in the face because you were not only heartlessly slain, your hard-earned properties were also set ablaze; leaving your family with nothing and no place to call home.

" Honestly, it should be a National Emergency for government and well spirited Nigerians to come to the aid of the family of late Hon. Salome Acheju Abuh. I can assure you that the Peoples Democratic Party is with  the family of Hon. Salome Acheju, the people of Kogi State and Nigerians at large.

As the National Woman Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, my team and I genuinely identify with the family she left behind.

" We stand with Nigerians against this heartless and dastardly act of murder and together, we shall rescue Nigeria!

I hereby make the following clarion call:

The late Hon. Salome Acheju Abuh should be immortalized by whatever means.

That Government should take responsibility by empathizing with her family.

That Government should come to the aid of the family she left behind.

May the soul of Hon. Salome Acheju Abuh continue to rest in peace. Amen, she added.
