The PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday, August 17 2022, justified the saying that; 'Charity begins at home' as he visited his hometown in Jada local government area of Adamawa state.
A massive crowd of kinsmen showing solidarity, welcomed Atiku amidst cheers and jubilation.
Recall that the leadership of the PDP on Monday had received thousands of defectors from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties in Yola the Adamawa state capital.The defectors were received in Yola, the Adamawa state capital city, by the 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, August 15.
Atiku while welcoming the defectors said,
“We expect you to work assiduously toward our victory in the 2023 general elections. My visit today is just a homecoming because I have not been home since when I won the primary election of my party."
