WLI, Nexus International University To Hold Introductory Webnar On Women Leadership, Entrepreneurship

 




WLI To Hold Entrepreneurship In Agriculture Master Class In Three Major Cities In Nigeria. 




Women Leadership Institute an international leadership development organization that provides a professional and non-partisan platform for women in Nigeria and across Africa to develop by training and equipping African women with the leadership knowledge, skills, competences, confidence and values that will enhance their capacity following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Africa's premier virtual university, Nexus International University (NIU) to jointly run Programmes while combining Webnars and physical classes. 



In that light, an introductory webnar on 'Women Leadership and Entrepreneurship in a Technology driven world' is scheduled to hold on September 28 2021. 


Prof. Gabriel O.C Okenwa, the Special Technical Adviser, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, Prof. 

Stella C. Chiemeke, vice Chancellor University of Delta, Delta State Nigeria, 

Asekenye Catherine Barasa, Charter President Rotary Club Sonde, PhD Candidate, Lead Social Development & Gender Affairs, Senior Research Fellow in Uganda


Caroline Ntara, PhD Candidate, International Business, Business Scholar, Lecturer and Researcher in Kenya are the panelists anticipated to be present at the webnar.

WLI has also announced the commencement of an Entrepreneurship in Agriculture Master class which is scheduled to take place in three major cities, namely ; 

Lagos 20th - 23rd September 2021 

Owerri 28th - 30th September 2021 

Abuja 5th -7th October 2021

It is also the first of its kind in Africa and the first women-focused academic institute totally committed to promoting gender equality through skills and leadership capacity training is empowering women to make meaningful contributions to the socioeconomic and political transformation of Africa. 



Conceived by Ambassador Dr. Kema Chikwe, WLI was duly registered in 2017 by the Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria and was formally launched in June 2018. WLI offers a broad spectrum of programs uniquely designed to enhance the leadership ability of women in various stages of development. These programs include but are not limited to: executive leadership programs, vocational training, bespoke leadership interventions, specialized Master-Classes and courses in three categories: Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Leadership Diplomas.
