INEC Reveals Statistics On Gender Participation In CVR Exercise.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced its suspension of the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.
According to Statistics released by the commission, 70% of the registered voters are youths between the ages of 18 and 34 and 41% are students.
On Gender distribution, 555,872 (51.38%) are males and 526,075 (48.62%) are females.
The figures have been interpreted by Nigerians to mean an increase in awareness among youths and the determination of Nigerian Youths to be the deciding factor for the choice of who emerges president in 2023.
