Eleme Chairman Obarillomate Ollor Announces Suspension Of Protest On East-West Road.
The protest which has been ongoing for Seven days organized by Eleme youths to shutdown a section of the East-West Road following incessant outcry by the community over the condition of the road had been suspended.
The announcement on suspension of the protest was done by the chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Obarillomate Ollor.

Ollor addressing the press at the trailer park in in Onne, Eleme LGA on Sunday afternoon said, the suspension followed a firm commitment by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, to immediately commence reconstruction of the road.
