Police Confirm Assassination Of Autoease CEO In Enugu.

The Nigerian Police in Enugu has confirmed the killing of the Chief Executive Officer, Autoease services Mr. Ifeanyi Okeke in Enugu state. 

According to the police Spokesperson ASP Daniel Ndukwe, Mr Ifeanyi was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Sunday night on his way back to his house which is located at Brick Estate by Ekweremadu Drive, Independence Layout Enugu. 

Late Ifeanyi Okeke is reported to have been shot in the presence of his 7-year-old son who he had gone to pick up from the barbing salon. 

A source also revealed that the gunmen hit Okeke's car from behind and as he made to come down from his car to find out who had hit him behind, he was ordered to lie flat on the ground and was shot in the stomach and leg. 

Okeke was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead. 

The police Commissioner CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu   psc has ordered the State CID to launch a full scale investigation and hunt for the assailants. 

Part of the Commissioners statement reads ; 

" He calls on members of the public with information that will lead to the arrest of the criminals, to volunteer same at the nearest Police station or by calling the Command’s emergency hotlines on 08032003702, 08075390883, 08086671202, or 08098880172.
