INSECURITY: Youths Block Airport Road In A Protest Against President Buhari

 



Protesters Hit The Street, Block Expressway, In Abuja, Demanding Resignation Of President Muhammadu Buhari.



A group of #RevolutionNow protesters on Monday blocked the popular Umar Yar'adua way in Lugbe which connects to the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja demanding for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari. 


Residents, workers headed for the city Centre and other commuters headed for the airport were stuck in traffic with many registering their dissatisfaction over the been held in traffic caused by the barricade  as a result of the protest. 


A leader of the group Adenola Michael while speaking said, Buhari ought to have resigned by now as a result of the current challenges facing the country under his administration. 


" We were joined by other Nigerians, who were not satisfied with that level of hardship in the country, especially on the rising insecurity in the country. In a civilized country, the president would have resigned," he added. 


The crowd was however dispersed after security agents were mobilized to the area.
