Buhari Issues Orders For All Radio, Television Stations To Delete Twitter Accounts
The Federal Government of Nigeria has issued an order to private and public broadcast stations operating within Nigeria to delete their Twitter accounts immediately making reference to President Buhari's Ban on Twitter in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on Monday June 7 2021 in a statement displayed bally hoo on its powers to regulate activities of broadcast stations.
MediaOrchid recalls that International organizations have condemned the actions of Buhari which denies Nigerians access to the Twitter App and free information stressing that it is illegal and Undemocratic even as it takes away the human rights of Nigerians.
