Dr. Tony Nwoye Decries Exclusion Of 94% Of Ad-hoc Delegates.

....Withdraws From PDP Party Primaries. 

Dr. Tony Nwoye, an aspirant in Saturday’s Anambra state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election has withdrawn from the process following the exclusion of the party’s newly elected ad-hoc delegates and executive members from the exercise.

In a statement issued on Saturday morning ahead of the election, he said that with the exclusion of 94% of the delegates that only 6% of the delegates would be allowed to choose the candidate, a decision he said has turned the process into a mockery of democracy.

The exclusion of the delegates followed the court nullification of the processes leading to their election.
