Constituents Rejoice As Senator Seriake Dickson Grants Direct Access.

MediaOrchid reports that the Former Governor of Bayelsa State Sen Seriake Dickson who is currently the Senator representing Bayelsa - West in the 9th National Assembly has opened a Constituency office in sagbama LGA of the state to give his constituents direct access to him.
According to Sen Dickson, the office came as a result of the necessity of to check the aged long trends and situations where constituents are isolated and restricted from accessing their representatives as a result of long distance from Bayelsa to the FCT Abuja which has been observed to be the trend in time past.
The Senator was received by a large crowd from Ekeremor, and Sagbama Local Government Areas and many well wishers across Bayelsa state and beyond as Senator Dickson landed the Bayelsa International Airport on May 28 2021, which is one of his legacies.
Sen Seriake Dickson while speaking before the commissioning which was done by the Deputy of Bayelsa state said, the office would serve as a direct access to him and he also promised to see to it that all benefits due to the Senatorial district he represents and the Ijaw nation at large, which includes government based recruitments, his scholarship program and JAMB Scheme will pass through and will be achieved via the office without the constituents bothering to embark on journeys to Abuja.
Toru-Orua which is the country home of Senator Dickson received the entourage and Dickson hosted a reception in appreciation of his constituents, Elders, Party Leaders and members for supporting and electing him and also for their immense contributions in the organization of the Senatorial District.
He brought his speech to a crescendo by promising more programs which will be set up by the Senatorial District and will help to actively engage the youths and women in the district.
