Imo State Gets More Gold, Silver Medals At Ongoing National Sports Festival In Edo State.
Team IMO has today Sunday April 11 2021 grabbed more medals at the Nigeria National Sports Festival ongoing in Benin, the Edo State Capital.
Melvin Ugochukwu in the -90kg category has won a gold medal in Kung Fu while Beach Volleyball team male category also won a silver medal.
' Team Imo' , now boasts of a total of
▪ 7 Gold
▪ 5 Silver and
▪ 11 Bronze medals.
MediaOrchid speaking with a source at the event today gathered that Imolites have expressed optimism and have stressed that the medal haul is expected to increase before the end of competitions today.
