Black Sunday In Awo-Ommama As Security Agents Lay Seige, Attack Village

 



Casualties Recorded As Security Agents Attack Village In Awo-ommama Following Allegations Against Businessman Obinna Victor.




Reports reaching the news desk of MediaOrchid reveals that in the wee hours of Sunday April 25 2021, security agents laid Seige on Awo-Ommama the hometown of a  businessman Obinna Victor in Ọrụ East Local Government Area of Imo state.



Sources reveal that the attack was carried out as a result of the accusation on Obinna Victor of being one of the sponsors of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a separatist group.





The security agents  according to sources were misinformed that Obinna Victor was in his hometown for a holiday and the security agents moved to to attack and lay siege on Obinna's hometown without verifying to know if the information was accurate or not.





Villagers were reportedly attacked; men, women, and children including a 13-years-old gịrl were killed while the security agents kept demanding for Victor Obinna.



Mr. Obinna the CEO of a optimum Obidon Nig Ltd according to sources is a well known businessman. A source speaking expressed worry

" It is unfortunate Mr Victor is been blackmailed and hunted by his own people."


The source speaking further said, Mr Victor's wife and parents have had seek refuge and their whereabouts are unknown.


" His wife Oluchi and parents have gone into hiding. If such an act can be committed in his absence, imagine what would have happened if he was around or if they had found him at home," source added.
