Panic As Gunmen Attack FAAN Staff Quarters, Abduct Families.
Some staff of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria in Kaduna are reported to have been kidnapped with their families early hours of Saturday.
People living in a community very close to the airport have reported that the gunmen were dangerously armed. The gunmen were said to have and abducted some members of staff of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) in Kaduna and their families.
According to sources questions are still been raised on how the gunmen gained access into the quarters, some staff of FAAN living in the quarters who managed to escape have said that some staff members with their families have been taken away by the armed men.
The total number of persons abducted is yet to be confirmed even though some said about 11 persons were abducted.
According to the report, "two houses were said to have been attacked inside the quarters and they later moved to the airside of the airport.”
As at the time of this report, the Authorities were yet to confirm or issue any statement over the incident.
The situation has been described as terrible by many even as calls are been made for Nigerians to stand in the place of prayers for all abducted.
