Imo Lawmaker, Princess Miriam Onuoha Draws Attention Of NEMA To Constituents, Receives Commendation.
Hon Princess Miriam Onuoha representing Okigwe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives on Sunday, February 28 reached out to her constituents in style.

Hon Onuoha, the chairperson House Committee on 'Disabilities and Special Needs ' a committee which barely two months old, created as a result of her dedication and experience in discharging her legislative duties has been able to draw the attention of the National Emergency Agency (NEMA)and also had it attend to the pressing needs of the people of Okigwe North.
Onuoha in her speech on Sunday thanked the people of Okigwe Onuimo and Isiala Mbano for their continued support stressing that not minding the pressure that comes with staying committed to her duties which requires attracting physical infrastructure and massive employment she is not oblivious of the fact that the people of Okigwe have pressing needs which require urgent attention promising that plans to do a Constituency briefing with a much larger Agro and Financial Empowerment has commenced.
The People of Okigwe North received food items and other relief materials which were distributed in their thousands by Hon Onuoha on Sunday.
The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Youth, Women, Men and Religious groups, and Persons living with disabilities from the three local government areas of the constituency also received special packages.
The Director General (DG) of NEMA, while speaking at the venue in Okigwe on Sunday said, Hon Onuoha in diligence to her work made an appeal at the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, with the agency which has also yielded to the Humanitarian intervention from NEMA which her constituents are now able to access.
