Gunmen Kidnap 300 Girls From Government Girls Secondary School In Jangebe, Mafara LGA.
Three hundred Girls from a Government Girls Secondary School in Zamfara State are reported to have been kidnapped by gunmen making it the fourth of such massive kidnap by terrorists in the north.
MediaOrchid recalls that in December 2020 more than 300 students from a government college in Kankara, Katsina state were abducted.
The Abduction of the school girls which took place at about 2am today Friday February 26 2020 in Jangebe, area of Talatu Mafara LGA, is said to have been carried out by a large number of gunmen who have terrorized the state in recent times.
The gunmen were reported to have overrun a military checkpoint situated very close to the school before gaining access and invading the school leaving soldiers injured.
Sources have also revealed that local vigilantes have swung into action and have began a rescue mission of the 300 girls abducted this morning.
