On Sunday, January 24, Friends and family members of the deceased announced on social media platforms that he (Stephen) was missing, emphasizing that he went hiking on Saturday with a group to Farin Rụwa waterfall in Nasarawa but was yet to return home and had not been seen anywhere.
The news of his demise was later announced via some friends in Twitter saying his had been found dead.
