The Auxillary Bishop Of Owerri Archdiocese Bishop Rev. Dr. Moses Chikwe Has Been Rescued.
Reports reaching the news desk of MediaOrchid say the Bishop who was abducted on December 27 by unknown gunmen and at some point believed to be dead, has just been rescued by Tactical Unit.

MediaOrchid recalls the kidnappers also abducted a woman Chioma Stephenie Ekwedike ‘f’ aged 33yrs at Imo Housing Estate Umuguma, Owerri West LGA in front of her residence.
The tactical unit set out on December 31, 2020 and headed for Awara, Ohaji/Egbema LGA and Omuku creeks and made arrests of suspects. The arrest of the suspects led to the kidnappers abandoning victims, which also led to the rescue of the Bishop and two other victims.
No ransom was paid.
