Nigeria Army Deploys 300 Female Soldiers To Turbulent Abuja-Kaduna Highway.
According to the Nigeria Army, the deployment of 300 Female Soldiers To the Abuja-Kaduna highway is part of the measures to check Insecurity along the road and various communities found along the highway.
The female soldiers are to be part of the. 'Operation Thunder Strike' which is ongoing on the Abuja-Kaduna highway.
This is however the first time that female soldiers will be deployed for this operation.
The Governor of Kaduna state Mallam Nasir El-Rufai speaking at the ceremony on Wednesday to welcome the first batch of 100 female officers and the handing over of their residential accommodation to the Nigerian Army said on a positive note that, the deployment of more soldiers will help consolidate the successes that have been recorded so far.
