Wife of Ardent Supporter Of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) In Ondo, Comrade Marcus Folorunsho Assassinated By Unknown Gunmen.
Mrs Funmi Folorunsho, wife of Comrade Marcus Folorunsho, former Branch Chairman of Ado Garage In Akure the Ondo state Capital has been shot dead.
A source speaking with MediaOrchid revealed that Mrs Folorunsho was shot by unknown gunmen in her car as she approached the front of her residence at Oda Road Akure on Monday night at about 8pm.
Comrade Marcus Folorunsho widower is a member of the PDP in Ondo State and an ardent supporter of Eyitayo Jegede the candidate for the PDP in the just concluded governorship election in Ondo.
Preparations have been concluded for her burial which takes place today December 29. Her death has been described as an irreparable loss both to her family and the PDP in Ondo State.
This assassination is reported to be the 2nd within 72hrs in Akure.
