Traditional Ruler In Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State Has Been Shot Dead By Gunmen.
According to Tee-Leo Ikoro the police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Israel Adeusi the Olufon Of Ifon In Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State was attacked and shot at Elegbeka on his way back from a meeting of council of Obas in Akure.

The Olufon was taken to the hospital the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owo but gave up the ghost.
Reports have it that the Olufon was attacked and killed after there were reports of attack on a bank in Ode-Irele LGA of the state.
An eye witness report says gunmen broke into the bank along Akure-Ado Ekiti expressway at about 4pm and shot sporadically killing one person.
Without the presence or intervention of security agents the gunmen were said to have robbed for close to an hour.
