Ondo2020 : "We Were Neglected And Abandoned", People Of Emure-Ile In Owo LGA Lament

 


The people of Emure-Ile In Owo Local Government Area Of Ondo State have expressed pain over being neglected and abandoned by the government of Ondo state.


The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) on Tuesday in furtherance of his campaign tour to Owo local government area of Ondo, Eyitayo  touched down Emure-Ile with high powered delegation.



His Royal Majesty, (HRM) Oba Simeon Adedubaje Adeyefa (Elemure of Emure-Ile) who was present to receive the campaign entourage at his palace lamented over the  neglect of his town in the scheme of things.


 

The Monarch registered his displeasure at the rate of unemployment in the land, rising number of jobless youths and underdevelopment of the area. He also urged Jegede the Candidate of the PDP to endeavor to run an all-inclusive government that will see development reach the nooks and crannies of the state.





Jegede while responding to the request of the Monarch explained his desire to put an end to the high rate of unemployment in the state is one of the reasons why he intend to govern the state. He promised to leverage on areas of comparative advantage of each communities to provide employment for her residents.
