The Association of Northern PDP Social Media Strategists (NPDPSMS) has congratulated the Governor elect of Edo state, His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki and His Deputy Mr. Philip Shuaibu on their victory at the polls in the state.
The NPDPSMS which represents the party's Apex social media strategist of the 19 Northern states of the Nigeria in a press statement signed by the President of the association and made available to the press said,
" When we strive to protect our country we prevail over the sustainability of democracy."
" The Northern PDP social media wishes to congratulate his excellency governor Godwin Obaseki, and his Deputy Comrade Philip Shuaibu, the entire PDP and the good people of Edo state on the convincing and overwhelming victory at the polls.
Thanking the leadership of the party for standing by Obaseki and Shuaibu and rallying round to ensure that the party cruises to victory, and also applauding the doggedness and sagacity of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council under the leadership of the chairmanship of governor Nyesome Ezenwo Wike it said,
" Today a glimpse of hope has been brought to our democracy.
" Indeed it is a well deserved victory not only for the people of Edo state but for all well meaning Nigerians.
" We pray that God almighty will grant the Governor and his Deputy the enablement to bring to Edolites the desired devidends of democracy.
