Aisha Buhari, Daughter, Escape Plane Crash After Jet Loses Control

Nigeria's First Lady Aisha Buhari and her daughter, Hanan have escaped death after a private jet lost control.

A private jet with registration number GIV N52MK which belongs to billionaire Mohammed Indimi, her in-law that was conveying first lady Aisha Buhari and her daughter Hanan from Dubai to back to Nigeria reportedly, lost complete control for about 10 minutes.

The plane was said to be an hour away from Nigeria when the incident happened.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, the duo had to be examined in the hospital when they safely landed.

Although Aisha Buhari was reported to have flown out of the country due to pain in the neck which she was reported to have suffered after she got back from a condolence visit.

A source however revealed that Aisha traveled to shop for Luxury items for her daughter Hanan's wedding which is scheduled to take place on 4th of September and not for any health emergency or medical treatment.

The source revealed earlier that the term 'medical treatment' was used so as not to attract the anger of Nigerians over non compliance to the COVID-19 rules on lockdown. President Buhari has also been reported to have met with his daughter's fiancée as well to finalize on arrangements.

Source said,

“It was well planned, her neck doctor is in London not Dubai. She travelled to shop for luxury items ahead of Hanan’s wedding.

“There is presently a ban on international flights by the government except it is essential, so the best way for her to travel was under the guise of medical treatment.”
