The Ag. Chairman of NDDC, Pondei has collapsed in the ongoing house committee public hearing on NDDC.
Mr Pondei was seen responding to allegations of N1.5 billion financial misappropriation suddenly collapsed and couldn’t respond to questions from the chairman of the probe panel.
The auditorium was thrown into confusion and attempts were made to stabilize him which proved effective as he regained consciousness.

The reaction of some Nigerians to a viral video of Pondei collapsing, making rounds on various social media platforms is one of shock and to a great extent disbelief. While some are of the opinion that Pondei should be given time to recuperate.
